Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit Update
Marvin did not participate in the 2025 Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit program and does not have a Qualified Manufacturer Identification Number (QPIN).
Why Marvin did not participate
Recent changes to the federal tax credit program made participation significantly more complex. Requirements for qualifying windows, doors, and skylights were raised to the newest ENERGY STAR® performance standards, and the IRS added stricter reporting rules and QPIN processes with potential penalties for noncompliance.
At the same time, the federal credit itself was only funded through December 31, 2025, and officially ended at that time, with no credits available for 2026.
Given these evolving regulations and the short remaining timeframe of the program, Marvin made a careful decision not to participate for 2025, prioritizing clarity, consistency, and the long‑term needs of our customers.
Possible Rebates
Customers may still qualify for local incentives through the ENERGY STAR Rebate Finder. Availability varies by state and utility provider.
Our Commitment
Marvin remains an ENERGY STAR partner, and our products continue to meet ENERGY STAR and NFRC certification requirements.
Documentation for Prior Years
Manufacturer’s Certification Statements are available for tax years before 2025.
